Buying Art Online

It must be hard to pay good money for a painting that you just saw the image of on your computer screen. You can't really see the texture, flow or even the fingermarks of the artist on a digital image so why would you want to part with your hard earned cash for something that you're not 100% sure what it would look like when it turns up?  I agree, I recently had a feedback from one of the clients that she was pleasantly surprised to see the painting that turned up was more beautiful than what she saw on her computer screen and this makes me wonder how many people would see my art work and like it but wouldn't buy because of uncertainty.  I was just thinking this morning perhaps I should video my artwork and put it on youtube or similar art sites that allows videos?  Perhaps, it's time to set up video art website as an additional promotion to my work.  You see, I used to sell many of my work between 2003-2006 when I used to actively take part in exhibitions and artshows.  Perhaps the reason for this is because people could physically see my work and not just on their computer screen.  My paintings are mainly vibrant abstract paintings which are more effective in reality as you can see the texture, accurate colour and flow of the painting than on a digital image.

So I hereby guarantee that if you like my work on your computer screens then you will LOVE my paintings in reality or your money back!
