Selling Art Great for the Soul and Mind

If all of us could sell art then most of us will be successful because being creative whatever that might be from painting, writing, acting, etc. is a talent that most of us who could do it comes naturally but selling is not a skill that is natural.  It is learned.  I sold this drawing last night and its my second sale in a short period through my shop with www.Artfinder.com/Affordableartumi.  While I show my work and share it with the world through online social media I have no idea how else I could promote my work and get attention.  I could go down the gallery route or even ask local business to show my work.  Sure, that could be something I may do later when my current commitments ease off a bit.  However, right now it is satisfying just seeing my artwork bought by an art lover so I can call myself an artist, it is a great ego boost for my soul and mind.
