AFFORDABLEARTUMI NAME CHANGED TO KUMI MUTTU PAINTINGS

Today, I had an interesting conversation with a family friend who gave me some good advice about heading in the right direction for my art business.  The change was needed as my business has slowed and it is starting to look more like a hobby than a business!  I needed this push but at what cost?  Affordableartumi, a name that I was proud to come up with well over 20 years ago when I decided to go in the art business.  I started painting and creating because I didn't understand why paintings have to be expensive and only affordable by the rich and famous.  If I can paint and if I can paint well I can make them affordable I thought.  Hence, the name Affordableartumi was born placing the word affordable and my name Kumi together.  I have been lucky, I have managed to sell well over 200 pieces of artwork in the 20 years of my making and selling art practice in my lifespan and still have good few years to go I would think!  All of my paintings are original, unique, one-of-a-kind wall decor made in such variety and style that it looks like they have been painted by multiple artists!  It is my personality as its forever changing and I paint according to my mood and the style is just an after thought.

Yes! Finally my name has arrived.  It is an inevitable change but now people are starting to recognise my work and I have found a focus and style that needs to be directed to show that piece is a 'Kumi' !
