Hello and welcome to my art blog, I have been away from blogging for a little while as I've been too busy painting and selling art but I realise when you are painting original, one of a kind artwork it is important to write and tell the world about your art as well as sharing the images.  These paintings are done on newspaper so I guess you can call it art on newspaper, the idea originated from seeing a fellow artist using newspaper as a medium and I brought my own style and subjects and I have to say I am loving the texture, combinations of print with colour rather fascinating.  This is a type of portrait, focusing on woman features, specifically, their mouth, lips, parted to show beautiful white teeth.
